OK, play style is a bit too simplistic as an explanaition, let me elaborate. I started out as a CA main and learned to play the game from that perspective. Spot a target of opportunity and start firing, adjusting my aim according to the shell hits. This is how I learned to aim, but you can't do that in a BB, because you have to wait 30 seconds for yor guns to reload. So that single volley better be on point. You did this the other way around at first and I would argue that BB's are not as good as CA's to learn how to aim in this game.

And play style encompasses more than you might think. Certain mistakes are punished more heavily in certain classes, like showing broadside in a cruiser. So a CA player learns to be somewhat cautious and engage with low risk. This play style is not suited for BB's or DD's.

Also, what the other user said, there are some very shitty low tier ships. Some BB's just can't hit anything that's more than 6km away.

And I thought American battleships were comfortable, this is a cruise liner.
