I'm almost certain that MM is done by a sentient AI that is powered by human grief. I picked a war bond medal task that requires you to get 3 winning air AB games, in which you also have have to stay in top 3. I got the first game with fullfiled conditions in a breeze, so I thought I could get this medal pretty quickly. Boy, how wrong I was.
It took me 17 matches to get the last 2. over 10 were losing games despite I did my very best to do objectives, because everyone on my team couldn't kill anything, be it opponent planes or ground units. I stood in the top 3 just to watch the ticket count goes down against our favor. It was even worse for winning games, because there's at least 4~5 people knowing they shit so I had to race for 3rd places, and I did that without success. One of the game I'm only 100 points short to overtake the 3rd guy.
Took me nearly 3 hours just to get this medal, shit was enraging it's not even funny
Moral of the story: never ever fucking pick tasks that require winning games

Quite often (at least when people start whining at me about this type of situation) it's because they're in a crippled light tank and the enemy has 2 heavies and 3 mediums sat on the cap point...
