That's literally all total war games are these days. Just look at the Thrones of Britannia crap. Nothing new whatsoever. The only grace is that it's on the Attila engine which by default has more depth than warhammer one but fuck me TW has been shit for so long now, took me several hundred hours of TW WH to realize just how fucking boring it is.

Please fucking God don't have Warhammer's RPG Hero Generals capable of killing 400 men. I loved TW as a kid for of the bloodbaths of nameless men, and if one was worth remembering the name of it was bc he actually earned it by winning great battles
