If Salsa and Esser are purely for QoL and you never plan on 5* for either of them sure. Even then you might want to pick something you'll 5* first for an element you like. The difference between teams with no GW and a team with one of the good 5* GW is big. Song at 5* among everything else she brings also gives your party (essentially) permanent 50% crit, that alone would give her a spot but her whole kit is good.
