So basically you just have to ignore the balanced 2PP mordecai by going face with your 2/2. Going face is the correct answer every time unless:

>it is before his turn 6
>you can exhaust all his sigils

So that the balanced man of 3 damage to all can't activate his ability.

So far this is the only iron rule I've figure out when playing against dirtrune.

If you use your 2/2 to kill it all you're doing is removing an earth rune for a 2/2 follower. At least if you go face and ignore it then they can either use their 2/2 to kill yours (which achieves the same result as you trying to kill it) or they also go face.

Game is in yet another cycle of shitty meta/wait for nerfs/game is sort of playable again/new set fucks everything over yet again. People are just tired of it, and getting a near repeat of ToG meta isn't helping. Also shitposters went so wild the past month that a lot of regular posters have gotten sick of it and moved on.

It's still below average # of legos. I got 6 legos on my roll during DE.

There's not a lot of reason to keep trying to remove him early on because you'll still take damage and they can refill the sigils easily. Although one reason to remove sigils is to avoid Halo Golem on turn 4 so they don't gain so much tempo. It's not relevant in rotation anymore but constantly removing him to activate Yurius' ability is also another reason to touch him while also removing sigils. It's really only worth it to hit him with followers if you have 2 Yurius on board otherwise it's better to just use removal spells, Night Horde being the best one.

Why are people incapable of reading the Illusionist card? More than half of the people I use it against will fucking attack / use removal on the illusion. Most of them are in masters.

Sword was totally busted and stupidly consistent with Ephemera and Juliet. How would you stop something like that?

Aggro Sword isn't exclusive to SL. There was a lot with on curve buffs and such. As long as you can spam 1pp followers and turn 5 Albert or Round Table, you should be able to win most of your games. But not now.
