Feeling a bit tired, but I woke up not too long ago, so eh. A bit nervous about sharing my poem tomorrow though, but that will probably blow over, well, tomorrow.

I got an idea of something I want to write but I've never written before
Instead I'm just browsing

Yuri just doesn't really have any appeal to me. I don't hold her being a crazy cunt in Act 2 against her because it's not her fault, but even before that she has her issues and I just can't relate to her half as much as I can with the other girls.
I connected with Natsuki right away, I feel the same way she does about using more simple and direct language in writing. The only one of Yuri's poems I really liked was "The Raccoon."

I don't dislike Yuri for fighting with Natsuki, I'm just not interested in her.
And the cutting thing is way too much, she needs help that I couldn't give her.

Natsuki > Yuri > Sayori > loneliness > Monika

Their rivalry is why they feel so much more complex and "real" than the others frankly

If you're worried about getting a bad reaction well yeah, the anonymity's intimidating because it makes it seem so much more sincere but at the same time you gotta know everyone's playing to win and if they aren't cheating they aren't trying, right? Maybe if you tell yourself unusually harsh critiques mean they fear you as a competitor you might at least get a laugh out of it.

I'd love to read something new. Even if it's really dumb or something you should try pretty hard at least once. Writing is fun in bursts but feeling creatively drained is a screwed up next level of fatigue. I say definitely go for it. Post it anonymously on a pastebin set to expire shortly if you aren't confident. It's a good first step.
