Gascan is mediocre with the most godawful charge rate. Hell it would make more sense as a primary so then your shotguns give afterburn. Nu-Panic attack is obsolete I swear the detonater/ss jumps took a nerf to make the jetpack look good. Axtinguisher got nerfed hard due to afterburn ending shorter. Airblast is useless the majority of the time outside of pushing people away because every soldier and demo by now knows how to counter it back. Just christ thanks for the DF but give pyros a primary that isnt a fucking flamethrower so I dont have to feel awful every time i get a kill that isnt gimping myself with shotties.

Yeah yeah I know. I prefer close range and I'm a pyromaniac, pyro and demoman I naturally the two classes I enjoy for those reasons. I like the concept of airblasting, helping engies get rid of sappers and extinguishing fucking phlog scum. Plus I always have a hipster mentality in wanting to practice classes that people hate in games in the sad vain hope that maybe I can beat the stereotype. But...Pyro is both shit AND cheap. Real talk, the flamethrower will always feel cheap even when you know how bad the class is. That's why they made the dragons fury in the first place, to try and at least provide an answer to the w+m1 stereotype.
