prob Ikko Ikki. pretty difficult without being tedious, and felt rewarding when my loansword swarms would destroy samurai armies

skarnik in WH1 was a ton of fun as well. skaven vortex campaign was good as well, when i played with a house rule of "if the AI completes the last ritual I lose", since it meant I was having to take big risks and fight hard battles instead of just dominating the AI strategically and low effort steamrolling them.

republic of tsu in fall of the samurai was fun for the oppisite reasons. I disbaned much of my force right before realm divide and got to build up a railway, set up recruitment factories to churn out max accuracy republican infantry, establish a freakishly massive and self-sustaining economy, and otherwise prepared to the extreme to be able to recruit masses of elites and smash all of japan decisively.

whats the point of high elf nobles from an army perspective? the troop replenishment is nice but loremasters can get it as a trait, nobles seem pointless
