This one is fine. Not particularly happy with the fifth stanza. There's some subtlety in my position that it fails to capture. Makes me think about the ethics of an author writing something they don't 100% believe in. I often find myself writing poetry that teaches a lesson I used as a stepping stone to a "better" lesson later. Ah well. Otherwise, I'm quite happy with this one.

Oh, and thanks for the poetry prompt every thread you guys. I wish I wrote for it more often, but I'm extremely appreciative of it, regardless. I wouldn't be writing at all without it.

i don't give a shit about suicidal blogposters, that's a common shitposting trope on Veeky Forums and sometimes is serious, so i preffer to ignore it because i never know when i can step on a nail.

But for the opposite reasons i fucking hate avatarfags to their cores, and it's not just me, is a large portion of the userbase as well for pretty much the general idea around them.

I like this a lot. Sometimes I do stretch the degree to which I believe in something either because I like how it'd sound as a poem or as an excuse to use better language.
But I'm a huge sucker for 'invincible will' things so this made me smile.
I did go into it hoping for a reason to take the challenge more than well hey what else're you gonna do but it was still nice.
Guess I should try to write about that at length sometime and see what I can come up with

Why exactly do we NEED avatarfags? No really, none of you have ever given a good reason. You can say "Oh they're helpful and give critique" and I understand that, but why do they need an avatar for that? They could do all that without an avatar, which is why people have a problem with it. Literally the only reason they were using them was for attention, and they openly ADMITTED that they were doing so.

I like your overall message, I also have some feedback.

I'm not sure if this is intentional or not but you don't seem to have a solid rhyme scheme. Some lines rhyme and others don't, personally it feels kinda jarring because it comes off like you're trying to decide if you're going to follow a scheme or go free verse

In particular I like the use of "Drill Sergeant" because it creates the image of something, tough, demanding and unforgiving. Really great use of a word to carry a point across.

Finally the last line in stanza 5 felt weird to me because of its length. It's shortness isn't able to carry the rhyme (IMO) from the second line of that stanza.
