It's genuinely fun, the animation gets better as it keeps going and it gets major points from me for having an animated child protagonist I didn't want to strangle 5 minutes in.

Quick note though, while the seasons have an overarching plot, it only really comes into play mostly at the beginning and end, the middle is mostly fun adventure of the week.
