2 Things about Arena I still don't get

does my arena team get "seeded" automatically, or do I need to play a round each season to even appear in the database?

Is there even a way to increase the likelyhood of my team appearing for other players? Does me team get sent out more often each time I do arena, or is that completely random?

I've gotten defenses at the start of the season before I play my first match, so no. If you change your defense team you'll need to battle on any map to update it though.

Use a team with a high BST. More players play at that level due to the need for a perfect run so you're more likely to get defenses too.
