Its pretty clear that most of these "Pros" are cheating. They made it really blatant last year at PGL.

Computers aren't actually formated + setup for that specific event, they use them for several events and are probably transported on a normal truck/car, shit get loose or broke on that moments.
I had to transport 12+ pc for a event before and one failed because the fan broke mid-game

what cheat do you use? most of the cheats pros use cause a lot of operating system issues since they run at such elevated privileges

These "Technical Pauses" benefit everyone. Valve and eleague get more money showing off ads and the players get more time to have their cheats fixed.

I am new to CSGO and I had a few questions about certain aspects or "meta game" etc.

For example, how do I know when to save and when to buy? I don't understand the concept. Don't you typically buy when you have the cash to afford a gun, armor and some nades?

Next, are certain guns just worthless? I never see anyone buy the bizon, mac-10, sawed off shotgun and other guns too. Most of the shotguns I never see anyone buy. I pretty much only ever see AWP, AK, M4.

Next, What should I buy first round? I typically just by armor but is that not a good idea?

Just how important is memorizing smokes? I noticed on mirage people would smoke the site by lobbing smokes over the wall. That seems critical but how do you even learn shit like that? Just go into a solo lobby and throw smokes until you find the spot?

Finally, the most frustrating thing I am having a hard time with is battling other awpers. I don't AWP but that gun seems to control the battlefield so well. People know all the common hiding spots and know where to be scoped at. Its hard to shoot them when you don't have an AWP because they can kill in one shot, you may not kill them in one shot unless you also have AWP.

So as a new player, which avenue should I proceed down to get better?

If your just starting practice aiming and learning some common smokes on maps you like. Don't try to learn everything at once you'll just feel overwhelmed.
