If Lambda's microdashes is anything like Nu's, then you just have to get used to them and the timing, it can be tricky but once you get the hang of them they're pretty fun

the dpad is better but you might as well buy one with analog sticks to use in other games idk

Microdashes are fun once you get the hang of them, can even use them for surprise jabs/pokes. On Nu I like to do 66+3C or 2B as an example

They can be used interchangeably. I know a person that uses the stick for some inputs and dpad for others.

I enjoy microdashing with Naoto, it breaks fingers but it feels nice to pull off.
