As a physical wall archer he's strictly inferior to Leon. As a buffer he's next to worthless since he lacks a drive C skill and needs to waste his turn rallying to make an impact. His bow is also shit, so holding onto it just for the sake of the mini drive passive holds back his ability to check other archers and DCs.

Never doubted him. I just thought his base skills will disappoint people who are not into building a different type of team comp.

She's the only armor with not only playerphase, but also a very deadly enemy phase to ALL colors except dedicated counter to her when it comes to enemy AI (all other armors are easy to cheese and are a joke even with armor march, the only armor people seem to have disagreement about is Jacob). Her BST range is also the kind you're more likely to see when mages are normally taken out in favour of high BST units, her defenses are high enough to block out most damage from both magic and physical, she tends to be on defense tiles so even most dedicated counters have to play a game of slow wittling down (unless you can bait kill, though units like Ephraim can out-dps her with their special refinement), and her dump stat of speed actually helps her charge special quicker to get past and kill even her own counters since her res is so fucking crazy high.

For normal red armor -> you take a blue unit and they counter them. That's not the case for most blue units with Tharja. Her damage potential is comparable to wrath QP BK, except difference is that she's already built up while BK needs this kind of investment and she can be merges to +10.
