Just finished Massive Shit: Andromeshit. How do I go back in time and never play this game?

gigi-chan best waifu

Reminder that Jacob is a loyal and exceptional soldier. And also the only specialist for the vents.

Stars of the Hyades cluster are scattered through this mosaic spanning over 5 degrees on the sky toward the constellation Taurus. Presently cruising through the Solar System, the remarkably blue comet C/2016 R2 PanSTARRS is placed in the wide field of view using image data from January 12. With the apex of the V-shape in the Hyades cluster positioned near the top center, bright Aldebaran, alpha star of Taurus, anchors the frame at the lower right. A cool red giant, Aldebaran is seen in orange hues in the colorful starfield. While the stars of the Hyades are gathered 151 light-years away, Aldebaran lies only 65 light-years distant and so is separate from the cluster stars. On January 12, C/2016 R2 was over 17 light-minutes from planet Earth and nearly 24 light-minutes from the Sun. Its blue tinted tail largely due to CO+ gas fluorescing in sunlight, the head or coma of the comet appears with a slightly greenish hue, likely emission from diatomic carbon.

You can't.

Are you sure? I'd really like to

Are there any redeeming features to Andromeda at all? Weighing up whether I want to play it.

8th for qt detectives

Building your own class is neat.
A few of the character interactions are cool (bar fight, rock climbing, Drack's loyalty mission, Jaal's loyalty mission).
Nothing that would be worth a 30 hour time investment.

The first few hours were ok, before you realise how clunky the UI is and how boring most quests are

...

Only redeeming feature in an otherwise shit game.

Gunplay is pretty fun. Though the relative lack of enemy variety and poor AI can often ruin it.

If you skip the bulk of the sidequests it's not that bad.

Thanks Anons.

Comets are just the coolest.

This exciting and unfamiliar view of the Orion Nebula is a visualization based on astronomical data and movie rendering techniques. Up close and personal with a famous stellar nursery normally seen from 1,500 light-years away, the digitally modeled frame transitions from a visible light representation based on Hubble data on the left to infrared data from the Spitzer Space Telescope on the right. The perspective at the center looks along a valley over a light-year wide, in the wall of the region's giant molecular cloud. Orion's valley ends in a cavity carved by the energetic winds and radiation of the massive central stars of the Trapezium star cluster. The single frame is part of a multiwavelength, three-dimensional video that lets the viewer experience an immersive, three minute flight through the Great Nebula of Orion.

>peebee offers to fuck
lads...should I?

up 2 u

>Peebee

Enjoy your space STD.

>poo poo pee pee

Space is too pure. So much cool shit that we'll never even explore in our lifetime.
It's isn't fair, but life never is.
At least there are always neat pictures.

decline any squid headed harlots user.

I said no because im loyal to Vetra and Peebee is annoying

Neat cosplay.

I should make one of these for Jack.

Good choice user.

>found out another friend of mine is pro synthesis

how do you handle this, /meg/?

Do it user, nobody is holding you back.
I think you meant former friend, right?

Space 'em

...

Explain to him/her that synthesis is forcing everyone into becoming indoctrinated husks.

Do not believe the star brat"s lies.

>Do it user, nobody is holding you back.
Definatly, I'll do it tomorrow though. I'm sleepy right now.

'night guys

De-friending then is the only logical thing to do tb.h

Airlock, NOW

Keep comfy user.

I can't bring myself to use a consistent team in any of the games outside of ME3. ME2 makes you use a variety of teams thanks to loyalty missions and ME1 I always bring Liara to Noveria. ME3 is always Garrus and Javik for me.

Post Tali.

Why didn't they put Quarians in Andromeda lads? All I wanted was more sexy space gypsies for the campaign, and for MP.

This one is still my favorite.

>sexy space gypsies
That's why

Because separate Ark lol
You can read about them in the upcoming novel user :^)

Cute!

She is unironically cuter than the actual Cora.

Thanks! I always do worry about how it flows, if it feels stilted and doesn't read naturally. Or that I'm not describing the scene enough, how the environment looks, etc. Am I painting a good enough picture of that thick ass?
Just gotta try to transition into the actual interrogation now, but I'm kind of stuck.

...

Uh, what?

>The Queen is a card steeped in the tradition of family, and reflects a person, usually a woman, who is financially adroit, and possess a very pragmatic, practical, nature.
>This is a Beach House related Tarot card.

Other than these your guess is as good as mine.

I am still mad about that fucking human quarianboo in the epilogue. Makes no fucking sense for the quarians to "adopt" a human. Even a turian would make more sense because at least they can share food and don't have to dedicate a whole clean room for human.
Fuck, I bet in the mind of whoever wrote that character the quarian designed a suit "just for her".
God damn I'm still mad.

Ded. Posting butt.

...

Mako and more fluid gameplay. I liked the party members, too.

>Am I painting a good enough picture of that thick ass?
You are indeed user.

You degenerates will swallow any shit if it has femturs in it.

Yeah it seemed like a dumb self-insert.

Still don't like that design, or the armour.
>show off the protheans
>same ol' three fingered digitigrade design
Lol.

>>same ol' three fingered digitigrade design
What did you expect from people who made blue humans, bird humans, lizard humans, gypsy humans and so on

I wanted what became "inusannon".

>tfw no cthulu aliums

>squid humans
nah

What do you propose as a decent alien design?

Dunno, I'm not an artist and I don't get paid to come up with interesting aliens designs, but if I did then I'd probably come up with something more inspired than just different colored humans or Earth-born animals in humanoid form. Fucking hacks.

You probably would.

Good butt.

Are they ever releasing that Quarian Ark novel, or did they drop that shit?

Here's the thing, you want your aliens in your entertainment to be not too alien, especially if you're interacting with them on such a personal level that you do in Mass Effect.

Also, pretty presumptuous and stupid to thin k that every single alien species in reality is nothing but a wirthing mass of tentacles or sludge. Such thinking is just as agregious as thinking all aliens have rubber foreheads.

>Here's the thing, you want your aliens in your entertainment to be not too alien, especially if you're interacting with them on such a personal level that you do in Mass Effect.
That's the worst bullshit I keep hearing all the time. ALIEN ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FUCKING ALIEN, fucking hell, why even have aliens when all they are are just slightly different humans, fucking kill me.

I was fine with most of the ME aliens. Seeing some more "abnormal" ones such as the Hanar, would have been nice though.

Would you romance a sentient rock bent on the destruction of organic life?

Possibly. What are her hobbies outside of hating all organics?

kill him

Why the fuck do you want to romance everything?
Go play some weebshit dating sim and stop ruining spess rpgs.

You wanted some real alien aliums, I'm posting some.
Let me reformulate for you:
Would you like to engage in Mass Effect style third person shooter with an Amobea squadmate?

Thinking about new way to transform carbonated life into silic-based life.
She wants you to get rock-hard.

Just finished another playtrough. Man, what a fucking shitshow.

>You wanted some real alien aliums, I'm posting some.
Alright, but why bring up meme romancing shit?

I like the rock-life in Stellaris, conductive rock in massive asteroids being equivalent to the neural pathways in the human brain.
Study or mine it and you'll crack the rock, 'killing' the entity.

Why not? Usually, romance is character interaction and development pushed to its maximum, meaning a player develops an attachment to a specific character that goes beyond "Pick whoever is needed for this mission and/or the one you leveled up the most."
Now, put this kind of character interaction from the perspective of a "real alium alien" that is in no way relatable to humankind. No two feet. No humanoid shape. Not even the ability to communicate with english (as it's too humanlike).
Would you still think such a character would be interesting to play with, interact with, or do you think that too much alien wouldn't rebuke some player as alium alien are in no way relatable.
I can relate to the turians, understand their perspective and their civilization, but I can't for sure feel the same about Hanars.

Aliens aren't supposed to relatable, you're supposed to not be able to understand them, that's the whole point of being a fucking ALIEN, ayy?

>implying convergent evolution isn't common as all fuck, albeit with slight differences.

How do you think mankind mastered the earth? We're nearly perfect in design.

Why are aliens supposed to be unrelatable? Does earth's inhabitants have the monopoly on empathy? What's the point of putting alien civilization or culture that is unrelatable and incomprehensible to the player/viewer? While it worked for the Reapers in ME1 and the Collectors in ME2, it didn't worked for the Engineers of Prometheus.

As a player/viewer, you need something to relate to what you see in front of you to CARE about it. I can't relate to a machine/ai or the geths hence why I don't feel anything when they're destroyed, but I relate to the Rachni queen because I can understand their basic need and fear.

Look at how Sovereign, an unrelatable alien, communicates with Shepard, and look at how the Rachni queen, while using a logic that is unrelatable, communicate with Shepard. The Rachni can make you care about her, and that's the crux of the thing.

tl:dr : To be able to relate to the ayys means you can care for what happens to them.

>As a player/viewer, you need something to relate to what you see in front of you to CARE about it. I can't relate to a machine/ai or the geths hence why I don't feel anything when they're destroyed, but I relate to the Rachni queen because I can understand their basic need and fear.
>only my personal opinions and feelings about a certain subject matter
whatever f-a-m
you just don't get it

>convergent evolution isn't common as all fuck
only for systems with similar conditions
>We're nearly perfect in design
hardly, we just have a few adaptations that have temporarily given us an edge over the other species

I'm just telling you my point of view. If you'd explain why you think aliens should be unrelatable it'll let me understand your point of view too.
And of course I'll tell you my personal opinions and feelings about why I prefer stories when I can relate to the ayyliums. What did you expected me to do?

It's not like you can't try to understand them just because they're different.

>page 10

Regarding this discussion, I have taken collegiate level astribiology classes. Any ayy that we will encounter will no longer be organic unless we find them on their home planet pre-interplanetary. In which case, odds are we would no longer be organic. At the very least techno-organic

>Building your own class is neat.
tbf, you can kinda do that in the original trilogy with mods and tweaks and whatnot as well.

So what you're telling me is that the likelihood of us finding quality ayy puss is going to be rather slim.

Weird aliums?

>finally reach Kepler-452b
>ayys look 99.98% like us

>Aliens aren't supposed to be relatable
In that case, a galactic community wouldn't be possible and instead of Mass Effect we'd get WH40k

The good news is that they might bring mind uploading tech or something similar for infinite hedonistic pleasure for infinite amount of time

That .02% difference better be worth it.

>infinite orgasms with an infinite number of waifus
>cumming in Samus' butt while watching BR2049 with Miranda while groping Scarlett's butt in the Black Widow suit

Dang, son.

Make the 3 fingers and chicken legs up to human standard and there ya go

I hope she doesn't smell funny

>MindlessSpottedCardinal

this better not be something gay user

Well? Was it?

Pretty nice, but the cock looks terrible.
