Retard, it's not my fault if the dev blog posts aren't accurate. Also, I didn't check the attribute description in the build planner before coming here, so I thought it was a bug since Spirit Shock and Rune of Destruction both halve mdef but Rune doesn't increase your damage by that much.

It increases the damage dealt by magic circle type skills (Heal, PoA, Flame Ground, Heavy Gravity, Hamaya, etc.)

Tile skills are skills like Ice Wall and Fire Wall. I don't know of any other ones.

So with the new reduction mechanics spiritshock + rune of destruction would make mdef go to 0%?

Those new mechanics concern modifiers for final damage only. Spirit Shock and RoD affects the target's mdef and it's probably multiplicative, making mdef go down to 25%.

I don't even understand what they're doing. Why increase damage so much? At the same time they increase damage by a fuckload (for only a few classes) they also increase WB HP by a fuckload. Why? It just makes everyone reliant on the classes that got buffed while the others stay in irrelevance.

Archers got their rework. It was nerfs to Falconer and buffs to Musketeer, a class no one plays because you have to be Falconer C3.

If you are a damage oriented class and come to these fights but you aren't a Fencer/Doppel/Murmi Shinobi you are nothing but a retard and annoying asshole
These fights have to be as fast as possible to avoid crashes and shit, also spending over an hour on that boring shit to just get an outdated recipe isn't fun.
For example i am legit going to kick any no Shinobi swordamn and any Archer from my parties, go leech somehwere if you want to be useless

This is why get ahead event was a mistake. The market restriction for fresh accounts wasn't an issue back when it took more than a week to reach lvl 300+.

I'm the new player and I kinda agree with you about the event. The trade ban is fucking horrendous with or without the event but the event has made things way too easy. I'm to the point where I kinda want to disregard all of these instance reset scrolls on my future main character just so I actually get to experience the game.
