I don't know, the way they're spinning it sounds like they intend to replace the recolors completely and leave no trace of them.
They've kept the old looks available up until now because they're really not just recolors, so they probably escape that clause.
I was thinking, you know that blue skin that Ying has in Strike? That would be a decent replacement for her blue recolor. I would dare to go as far as call that "acceptable" as a course of action if that's what their idea is, but what I'm wondering is if they'll replace the recolors completely or leave them available for those that currently own them.

If it was replaced it something of a higher quality I wouldn't care.

The only thing they're good for at the end of the day is new players/people who won't invest crystals.

I'd assume no, or change the recolors to the redesign like they did with Ruckus and Barik.

Why would you even consider holding onto it? You know they're only going to make gold worth less and less so you should have spent it all on radiant chests when you had the chance. Could have found all the cosmetics in the chests and supplemented your opening with a bunch of duplicate gold. Good thing they nerfed the payout of cosmetic duplicates because it was seriously upsetting how I was able to open more radiant chests with the decent amount of gold. Now that the payout is more realistic I can actually take pride in buying more chests with gold I earned with hard work and determination and thanks in part to gold weapons and account boosters. Thank you HiRez for balancing the economy and fixing the exploit.

I suppose so, looks like they're going to remove cosmetics completely from radiant chests so you'll at least find some extra gold instead of just a card. It was really nice finding an epic dupe and getting 3k gold. When the game decided to actually give you the gold. imagine I missed out on 60k gold from duplicates not actually giving gold since ob64 dropped.
