I went with the suggestion of all the dokis don't really caring about user because they just moved on with their lives and have their own shit to do.

Alright, so here's a poem about this thing. As for which word it's about, that has to do with what the poem itself is referencing.

Good afternoon everyone!
I’ve finally made a decision about the runoff voting system for the festival!
So, each poem in the four categories that received the most votes has advanced safely to the next round, and will be excluded from this next specific vote however. As for the others, excluding the most voted upon, the next 3 Natsuki and Yuri poems alongside the next 4 Monika and Sayori poems (adjusted for relative amount of submissions) will enter into a runoff competition, wherein only one poem of the four groups listed will enter the second final round, where they will be voted against the winner of the first to decide upon the final four. If what I’ve just written seems like a jumble of incoherentness, I’ll jot it down:

1. The four winning poems thus far have advanced and are excluded from the next round of voting
2. Depending on the doki (3 for Yuri/Natsuki, 4 for Monika/Sayori), the successive poems will enter into a runoff vote
3. Only one of the 3-4 poems may be voted on, but the playing field is considerably smaller now, so I’d hope they’d all be read
4. From there on, we will have 2 poems representing each doki, the one from the first round and the winner of the runoff, these two will again compete
5. The winner of this shall enter into the grand finale, wherein it shall compete against the poems of the other 3 dokis, the grand winner shall be decided from this

Any and all questions/suggested improvements regarding the system I encourage you to ask me in the thread. Until then, polling for the first stage remains open for the next 2 1/2 hours until 9:00 US pacific time.
The quality of the submissions has been outstanding, and every one of you should be proud for taking the initiative to write something for your doki because now you have something to show her come the promised day!

Bait aside, FNAF and DDLC use the same thing to scare the player. While it looks like it's all about jumpscares (and a bit of shock value in DDLC's case), the real cause of terror is tension. The difference is that in FNAF, you can avoid seeing any jumpscares aside from some bullshit like fucking Phantom Foxy or the occasional flashing images as the jumpscares are your punishment and not the main attraction, but in DDLC, you can't avoid any of it and there's no warning. It comes and goes away, but it also happens rarely enough and it's more varied than something screaming at you so you don't get numb too quickly.
