Now I haven't been deep into Nasuverse lore since having read the Fuyuki wiki and the CM3 translations many many years ago (and got trolled by the fake Elephant entry), and I guess I need to go read Garden of Avalon. But I sort of half remembered from back then that Servants were supposed to be based on the CG system. So that's been retconned now and they're now a fork of the grand servants who are, as I understand it, basically CGs on steroids for even bigger threats than nonsense like Primate Murder since CGs are just literally who shitters who clean up human messes whereas Grand Servants are legitimate heroes? Is the aspect of the World responsible for the Grand Servant system Gaia or Alaya, and is it any relation to the counter force or something entirely separate?

As for team building, just throw them all in a team together with Mash. If that isn't your first roll, then you should have another 4* as well somewhere, so you can choose teammates a bit with that.

Do the free 10x Friend Point summon (along with spending any Friend Points in summons as well) and only do quartz summons in 10x batches. Friend Points will give you some poor CEs, which can be equipped or fed to your higher star CEs for higher HP/ATK bonuses. It can also get you the occasional bronze servant, who can be very handy depending on who you pull.
