I think that's the entire point user. Dark souls 3 is supposed to be the finale of souls for a long time, and it's supposed to be about the final rotting of the world and it's inevitable death.

You can offer them one at a time, you don't have to dump them in batches of 12 or 14. I don't know what the exact numbers are but I remember just getting a fuckton of elixirs by offering all the crap I didn't need one-at-a-time every time I passed a shrine.

The armor (minus crown) is just for fashion, and the bow is purely for aiming the soul stream. Protip: don't do what I did and forget respecing is a thing, Aldritch was a fucking bitch to kill with sorcery exclusively. Also, they can see the spell when it's winding up, but then again, they're not always looking for it. CSS one-shots a lot of the time, too.
Don't know how active Catacombs is anymore, though.

I actually started chasing him around the arena so NK would attack him and he ended up dying.

Then if I were you I'd go for a Raw infused Dragonslayer Axe, Dragonhead Shield or Greatshield, then some fashion with the Iron Dragonslayer set. It's pretty much what I did for my Dragonslayer build, along with some miracles like Lightning Arrow and Stake.

A LOT of shit depends on the messed up input queue in DaS. I can guarantee that any glitches they might fill will affect the dupes.

the meta has always been 120-125 in Dark Souls 1 and 100 only came along after the release of PotD, because 100 was the highest level of one of the bracket ranges for the shitty arena that no one used and instead opted for townshit.

100 is almost exclusively a PC meta
