Are there any mods that let me create squads like pic related? Would be kinda cool and sometimes it's hard to keep track of which people I like having together on missions.

Depends on what you mean.

Unrestricted Customization lets you have fairly normal mods. If you're playing WotC you could use a mod to remove Fatigue and/or Heals Persist to keep your A-team stars always available (obviously kind of unbalanced but whatever floats your boat).

Otherwise there's some for squad management that might suit you, if all you're looking for is organisation.

In case this happens to anyone else, since I managed to solve it you use ShowActions in debug menu to get the UnitID and then TeleportUnitIDToCursor to get the VIP onto the actual map.

They're "Chryssalid Crawlers" from some mod. I don't know if they're as bad as normal Chryssalids and I'm happy to avoid finding out.

What would happen if you had no troops and you got an avenger assault mission?

How much health and armor are the chosen supposed to have on the second month in legend? Are they supposed to have 4 armor and be in territories that are not theirs?

That mission lets you send out wounded troops. I think that includes exhausted as well...
Anyway if you truly had no troops you just auto lose.

I have consistently attempted and failed to beat this mission over and over. It's always been Warlock coming in.

Even if I manage to defeat all pods prior to him he just comes in, mind controls someone, scorch someone else, and summon a spectre in one turn and I feel like it's too much to manage in one turn with only four soldiers.

I'm about to restart one more time and back up my save then throw myself at this fight over and over again until I figure out how to deal with his shit, but in the meantime, has anyone else found a good way to deal with him at this point in the game?

Don't know, you'll have to ask Vector, but he's working on more stuff for the mod like having people inside the Commander's room, and an Orc option for heads and skin colors.

They are, but last I heard they're not just trying to port it and make it work, but add new features. That would take a while. It's only been worked on for a couple of months at most as well since it took until November for Pavonis to announce they weren't going to do it.

It's not a matter of 'new features', it's more of a matter of integrating WotC features instead of straight porting it to the new engine build.
