Since it was only on Page 6 when it got archived, I assume the inability to post killed it, not the lack of posters.

There was a sudden moment where images were up again, so even when we were on page 6 we immediately got archived because you had dozens of people from generals with the bump limit reached trying to make the new threads.

I always hear mixed results about it, especially with different Touhou games, maybe the newer ones would run better than EoSD.

It is technically inferior. I don't like EoSD much for the same reason.

I'm only talking about the main game here, it has two glaring issues.

It has the worst character designs, it makes the HSiFS 2hus look iconic in comparison. You can't tell me a literal Marisa clone looks good, I guess you can argue there's Alice but from a fundamental level she's a generic blond loli, her PCB and IN designs were leagues better.

Stages designs were in makai so they were a lot of "nothingness" in a void, whereas in the other games you had beautiful cities and landscapes for stages. This took a lot away from the game I felt.

And that's about it, just because it's the worst 2hu game doesn't mean it's a bad game. The core gameplay itself was solid, though I did find Yumeko's fight to be disappointing, she's essentially just a bad Miko boss fight.

Different user here. I started with 1 way back in 2006, mostly because I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Needless to say I was very confused because I was expecting a shmup.

Didn't stop me from clearing it all the way to hard though.

Larva was love at first sight for me. I've never actually had a favorite 2hu until 16 despite being into the games+fanstuff since 2007.

It makes me wish people could post like this while also using pictures.

What are some tips for Ex Keine's fight? I want to save as many resources as possible against Mokou but Keine is a bit of a pain in the ass. If possible, what are some good tips for the stage as well? Should I bomb so that I can get more points and more lives or is it wasteful?
At least in /2hug/ we discuss different content all the time with or without images. So even if it kills the waifuposting it also reduces the potential for discussion like posting manga panels, spellcard webms or 1ccs.

Alice since I don't know what shot you are going for, and because since she has the least range you can see what you are supposed to do in every stage section clearly that way.
Keine is all about tapping user, for her 1st and 3rd spells you want to learn how the static bullets are laid out (they are always the same), find a path and then stream while following said path. Actually same can be said about her 2nd, but it isn't as clear there.
