How do people bring their weapons to 8s? With an ability+40% the chances of all abilities working when upslotting is 5%, 16% on boost day. Is it literally just a matter of having infinite meseta and excubes to keep trying?

Yes even if I wait until then it's still a 43% chance they'll all work. If I use abilities with 100% transfer rate they'll have 40% after penalty. With 10% boost and Ability Success 40% that's 90% they'll work. 0.9^8=0.43046721. Less than a 50/50 chance it'll work.

It's actually worse, during a 10% boost week with a 40% your max transfer rate is 80% - or a 16.78% overall success rate. Unless it's a Qliphad, anyway, then you're correct.

Whew. It's not qliphad it's 2 (two) SAF fodders I'll be using on my Atra. Also my Atra needs it but at least the odds won't be so low on that thanks to having 4 SSAs.

I think that, in general, people using SAFs for 8s affixing are using weapons that dropped at 8 affixes rather than upslotting all the SAF fodder themselves. Unless you're disgustingly lucky or have thousands of cubes to spare, you're probably out of luck with the two SAF fodders now that boost week has ended.
While it's more than a little late now, make sure you've finished Zieg's Vraolet and Monkey King Bar COs if you haven't already. They'll help a little in boosting your odds of getting 8s on the occasion that a 13* drops in the future.

Zieg has two COs, one for each weapon - once completed, their potentials will be in effect as long as the weapons remain in your inventory. Vraolet's potential causes all rare weapons to drop unidentified (even excluding high-grade identification, identifying a weapon yields more affixes on average than otherwise), and the Monkey King Bar's potental increases the odds of items dropping with affixes. I think all items will drop with at least 1 affix when MKB is lv3, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
The COs are Respected Efforts: Skilled Trainer and Respected Efforts: Fortunate Omen. All you need to do is have a Vraolet and MKB at lv3 to complete them.

The rates for 13* drops in triggers are several times higher than the regular lq though, and you can get trigger drops from the quest too Ideally you'd want a full party with each member bringing their own so you get 4 runs for each trigger
I just don't get it. 630-tan just won't leave me alone no matter what I do. My internet still works during a 630 and its not like other people are getting 630'd with me. The only obvious thing is that some isp just suck when connecting overseas(I dunno though, it works fine for like a month straight then suddenly I get 1 week of random 630s). How do you deal with Anga Fundarge in Heaven and Hell?
I have no idea how to circumvent the resist. The only video I found has some guy just casually slapping it down dealing full damage the whole time while the resist cuts mine to 10% after the first few hits. I could whittle it down like that but then Dio Hunar spawns and it gets impossible to do shit.
I'm not sure I even understand the resist or reflect mechanics because I don't have time to test things properly. The purple wall denotes the reflect from the front I assume.

What class are you playing? It resists the three weapons or elements that did the most damage to it. You're supposed to switch to a different weapon, the elemental resistance is for techniques. It should tell you what it's resisting anyway.

Alright. I play HU/FI with Sword and tend to switch to Hero for mobbing shit. Tried this as Hero because killing the council is pretty simple with such a mobile class.

I didn't know the stage orders actually mattered. I haven't done Extreme Quests enough to ever get any decent rewards so I've just not paid any mind to the stage orders after realizing all the drops are garbage for me. I'm only at stage 15 on the 3 normal extremes after three weeks of doing the Klotho quests.
I've been sitting there slashing around in the air but I assume it's the stage orders.
