It's complex but you can defeat every single monster without dodging anything and just spamming potions as long as you land enough SAEDs. You can't do that with other weapons because you need to land a lot more hits with them to not run out of potions. That makes CB a crutch.

You can kill every monster playing half assed with every weapon in the game. What you described is such a silly situation. Why not dodge? CB has a low skill floor but also the highest skill ceiling.

Not as much as from some other things. If it's anything like 4U life honing (which it looks like it is), it's gonna be based on the MV of the attack.
And not only SAED is a three-hit move, but the phial explosions aren't included in it.

It could be every hit unlike 4U. Also the two main hits of the SAED are 90 and 100, which is still massive (more healing than a mega potion).

the issue with cb is that low skill floor is enough to get by for most of the game. the simple fact that you get gps makes the weapon a lot more of a crutch. sure cb is complex but it does too much damage while offering too much defense

It has lower proc rate for higher MVs, so I think it'll be balanced.
