How do I stop choking in every game and learn how to play calm?

By the time I've learned my combos the game is probably literally dead and everyone has moved to a newer installment that has completely different combo system.

By the time two years comes, it'll get a sequel or new edition that adds shit, and it'll be like SFV AE. The DLC will keep it alive too for sure if they keep it as a decent stream of content and add more than just DLC characters.

SFV is only simple in terms of execution and the number of game systems with names stuck on them. It's focused around fighting game fundamentals which already offer all the necessary 'depth' without needing a flake and an umbrella on the top.

I mained Bison on s2 and I was pretty much unstopable (I even played some matches in fgg lobby, the BR bison)

Now I'm switching to Sakura and got a reality check: "Bison's braindead pressure carried me to gold". So I'm really trying to get gud in neutral, but I'm struggling HARD to get in my opponent with her. I'm at that weird phase moment that I'm good enough to know why I suck. but at least I'm having fun (I spent my poverty dosh on her nostalgia costume)

I don't think the core gameplay of Divekick is comparable to SF fundamentals. I get that you think you're making some sort of clever argument, but Ryu vs Ken in World Warrior with 3 specials, no meter and barely any game systems is a vastly more interesting fight than Divekick matches aspire to be, so I don't think you really have a point.
