It's not every weapon though. From what I can tell, it happens when I select a unique/named weapon, or my Light Machine Gun (which I think is from a mod?)

Meanwhile the terminal velocity for a human being is closer to 88.9 m/s (assuming you're falling vertically, horizontally would be 54.16 m/s). Since terminal velocity is the highest attainable velocity by a falling object, according to your posts this would mean that you're arguing that strapping a huge set of metal armor to you actually allows you to fall at an exponentially slower speed than if you were to fall without it.
