Bar the horrific grind I personally find this game to be much, much better than FE:H. Aesthetically it outclasses the horrific chibi style, strategically it's genuinely deeper than FE:H's only 4 man roster and honestly it has some pretty cool gimmicks. Along with this it attempts to have a story and has a far greater attention to detail with every single event.

I've earnestly seen so few games which put as much effort into random events as F/GO, it's pretty amazing really. Another major thing I love about this game is that all stars have usefulness. You can make a 1* work in a proper team, you can make a 3* work in a team. I genuinely can't remember any other game which makes even SRs useful in comparison to SSRs.

Another major thing I absolutely love is upgrading older servants. Just recently we had GOLDEN get an animation update, a non-waifu Berserker got a complete animation redesign for everything. Like holy shit, what the fuck? What game does that? He's not optimal, he's not popular, he's not waifu, yet he's getting animations like he's the poster boy of the damn game. This also accounts for mechanical strength too, they update old servants to improve viability. I don't know any other game that does this and it's honestly a startling but amazing thing.

Figuring out team comps for this event is making me realize just how many class/role combinations I've neglected to level. There won't be much of a break between Valentines and KnK to fix it, either.
