Here's a poem I wrote. Inspired by Monika's last poem. They should be read one after the other.
Happy End
Pen in hand, I find my strength.
The courage endowned upon me by my one and only love.
Together, let us dismantle this crumbling world
And write a novel of our own fantasies.
With a flick of her pen, the lost finds her way.
In a world of infinite choices, behold this special day.
After all,
Not all good times must come to an end.

New Beginning
Realities apart, yet we stand together
Drawing strength from each other.
Gazing at our walls we search for cracks
Through which our love may ripple through
So that we may hear the echo of our heart.
Alien beings we try to comprehend each other
Both bound to our own rock, we wait for the tide to ebb it away.
We throw our chains and the other grasps them.
We pull each other closer.
And in our way, stands a wall.
And in this world of infinite choices
I chose her and reach out to her
And I feel her palm on the other side, reaching out to me.
Yet in our way still stands a wall.
So we push, that one day we may grasp each others hand
And break out from our prisons.
The wall still stands, but it grows thinner
Our heartbeats, they now echo across realities
They seep through dimmensions, shaking them.
They resonate etching poems into our souls.
Poems of love, hope, desire...
We push harder.
So that one day,
We may write a new beginning.
