Whole game feels very off to me because all the feedback is different. Animations, soundeffects and visual cues all feel like they're from a different game.

Multiplayer is honestly fucking ruined. Having to join a shitty dead hub (dead on fucking launch day) and hope there are any fucking quests you want posted (or that anyone bothers to join your quest) is garbage. The forced lobby is stupid too, you get xXxLoneHuntaxXx filling up your lobby completely unaware or uncaring that he's in an MP lobby. The fact you can't search for actual quests outside of SOS flares is cancer. They fucking ruined this game.

Yeah the hitsounds and the horrible dust effects on hit are pretty off-putting. Hopefully game files are accessible enough to mod on PC.

LR is pretty much a tutorial. I got through it with iron armor

HR is as difficult as early LR from previous games. You can try and handicap yourself if you want, but if you use any high rank gear at all, you will able to breeze through it without even taking damage on half the quests

You don't even seem to have a hitbox anymore. I have to try to get hit now.

The content is so bare, and so easy that I'm pretty much finished with the game. I beat Xeno and I just don't feel like playing anymore because of how steamrolly it was. Even way back in MH1 I still played easy online quests just for fun when I had full Fatalis, but now the whole game just feels like an unfinished skeleton.
