It doesn't really matter though if she has the "potential" for it or not if she never learns how to use it. The fine line here is that Ciri HAS the potential for magic, but never does an asspull of "i suddenly learned this extremely hard thing to do out of nowhere". That is what a mary sue is.
Also, if Ciri is a mary sue, then Pavetta and Lara Dorren are mary sues as well. Hell, you could even consider Triss and Yennefer mary sues as well as Geralt.
Also, Ciri never defeated the Wild Hunt on her own cause "stronk and independent wimmin". She was on the run, and was only able to do so with huge help.
