In the opinions of others, what makes dwarves not fun to play as? What would you improve to make them fun to play as?

can the oil painting screenshot reddit meme end?
are history games just too trash to take normal screens so you use your shitty snapshat filter of something?

xth for """victory"""

Post some of your greatest """victories"""

Settra has like 1100 kills in this battle, riding on the Warsphinx and casting magic.

INB4 threadly "board culture memes"

>reddit

this was around long before you fantasy fags ruined this genereal

Like most metal bands, they were doing really well until the vocals started. Why does so much of this stuff sound like someone forcing a shit?

>there are people who think Napoleon was good

by giving them the tomb king limited units apart from lords
so you be saying you dont like being spammed with brainlet reaction images?

They are fun.

stop shitposting

give me an army comp to fuck deeply with dwarfs as TK

I feel like it is just better on Tomb Kangz to use a nearly fully construct army. Ubshati for the front line, Ubshati with bows for ranged, some artillery, and then just as many big constructs as you can get.

>falling for a falseflag
HOW ITS OBVIOUSLLY A SOCK PUPPET

so you've been reddit before people called you out on it? nice

Of course, but you can't get that army until very late campaign

It'd be expensive as all fuck to get all those buildings, and that's for one army

DAS RITE!

...

I'm on turn 180 of my Settra Campaign, but I was gonna try and take over the world. I might just end it soon though.

Ushabti are not very durable and take a long time to recover from losses. You're much better off having some Tomb Guards to take the damage instead.

how did I do fellow skelebros? Arkhan on legendary, took 117 turns because it took forever to remove Settra from premises. Tomb Kangz campaign is actually pretty fun if a tad easy. I'm a retard and forgot image

Necroshinx + Ushapti.

OP being a faggot is once thing, but dont participate in it please

they resist large, cavalry and magic
use spear tomb guards and flanking ushabti with missle ushabti assisting
If you pick a large to assist, use a necrotect to keep it alive

SHIT, because you picked arhkan

I fucking love Ushabti man, such an aesthetic unit

wtf Belegar ?

this isnt a lizard themed thread
why is op such a fag?

I've never played a TW game before, but I'm interested. Is Warhammer 2 a good entry point? Do I need the DLC?

4 u

yes, dont buy any dlc yet, and pick the 'high elf' faction led by 'tyrion' and 'teclis'

Any protips for Khatep in Mortal Empires?

Only infantry and arti early game. They are more boring for me since you dont have to micro cav or chariots. It's basically set formation and go. Not really engaging

Who did you ambush?

You likey?

meh
10/10 you'd think it was commision art
looks like it comes out the spanish civil war and thus does not fit in what rome 2 faction can i have just pikes, a few swords and heavy cav

1 might be a better entry point. The two games are essentially big DLC's to eachother, 2 is the new world. 1 is the old world. Having both will make both available in the campaign
the DLC's are mostly unlockable factions mostly, like Tomb Kings, Norsca, Beastmen. Play base games and than unlock the factions you like
It's pretty fucking fun desu

baited a Pepe from Zlatlan with a seemingly undefended settlement and then crushed him for the crime of capturing Elven Ruins while I was busy removing Settra and other rival Kangz.

TAKE
THE
BLACK

1 isnt a good entry because not every faction has spears

I respectfully disagree. I tried having a mostly ubshati line with tomb guards to act as meat shields, but the tomb guards just die. I replaced them with more Ubshati and everyone seems to very easily survive. I think its because while tomb guards are more durable, their damage is shit and it takes them forever to kill anything, so they just take more damage. Ubshati kill stuff before it kills them.

>morathi turns into a snake in Age of Sigmar
>khalida isn't even in Age of Sigmar
Bravo GW

>Tfw im so angry that my Craventail ended in turn 25 im literally crying.

Fuck this shit so much. I had so much fun and really good start.

Soon

tfw

so since Kroak is off limits, who are we going to get as LL starting in Itza ?

based

Reminder to enjoy your favorite Total War setting and let others enjoy theirs as well!

I would say just skip to WH2 if you can afford it, then buy WH1 when it's on sale to unlock Mortal Empires (huge map that combines all races from both titles)
The DLC is very unnecessary. I would suggest only buying races when you're going to play them right after purchase. If you have no intention to play the race, not having the DLC will change nothing about your experience at all.

dont get it

time to git gud and try again

Ushabti are pretty good at running through a unit blob, since they are low in number and high in speed. You can very easily have them slide through the front line of tomb guards to start cleaning up.

That or just flank them around the sides since they have amazing speed.

You're just going to be waiting for recovery way too much either Ushabti. With Tomb Guards you can merge and replace to have them all fully recovered 1 turn after the battle.

The best entry points for Total War would be, in my opinion:

Shogun 2 or Warhammer 1

Shogun 2 is really easy to learn, has more simple units, but is really well balanced and a lot of fun.

Warhammer 1 is better than Warhammer 2 for new players because there is no vortex to worry about, no rogue armies, nothing like that. Not to mention the factions in Warhammer 1 are easier to understand.

No DLC is necessary, but if you like the games then I would consider some of them. They can be expensive though.

>including nipshit in with the real total wars

>no napoleonic one
>no muslim one
>no greek one
>no mongol one
off yourself

When will we finally be able to remove mummy as Araby?

I'm too fucking mad right now. Fucking CA why cant they give food when Sacking.when theres full armies and garrisons. Fuck this fuck shit piece fuck AI just camps in the settlements fucking fuck faces.

its an age of soymar meme. gw purged tomb kings from the game, directly contradicting their "once its out you will be able to play it" credo, by removing their rules as well. they also squatted bretonnia for example, but left the rules in, which is like an extra penis into tomb kings' players anus worldwide

Where the fuck do i build all of these pyramids that aren't in the desert?

>implying

...

My niggas, where can I find the DLC file for KANGZ? I'd like some CREAM with my Warhammer 2.

>amazons when?

Fuck off already with your whining

>You're just going to be waiting for recovery way too much either Ushabti
Necrotect (I am probably spelling that wrong) really helps to eliminate that problem because at level 10 they give a massive boost to construct recovery.

But as I said, I was trying to do that. I had a core of Tomb Guards and they kept taking incredible losses against anything that was near their tier. Ubshati are able to hold their own against the higher tiers (especially with a necrotect around) and simply cut through lower tiers. Truthfully, however, neither Unshati nor Tomb Guards are the start of the show, because they mostly just hold stuff up and deal damage while your big ass constructs do most of the work.

Still, my tomb guards were regularly losing most of their units and getting between 70-100 kills, while my Ubshati are always at like 120+ depending on the circumstances. However, I do want to agree with you that their recovery period takes forever without a level 10 necrotect so it is pretty necessary before using a construct heavy army.

they are all close to each other, some are in minor settlements

Amenemhetum is in Zandri, you probably need to look back through your building browser dude.

No fuck you. I fucking hate this piece of shit. Good thing it was actually just turn 25 and not turn 80.

Leveling up a necrotect doesnt take that long. You should be taking him as a free hero asap to unlock the special necrotect ritual anyway. So just embed and by the time you need him leveled, he should be.

we hate you too. no stop blogging or kill yourself already

>Crying like a bitch over TWENTY-FIVE (25) turns.

goodbye /twg/

Kroak

if anything all the ancient histshit garbage should be removed

>ancient histshit
are you being redundant or saying the games are old?

good night, sweet prince

Unit Cap Mod When

Disregarding funds and recovery time, what is the best late game TK army comp?

>all anons play Tomb Kangz already
>tfw you can't even afford Beastmen DLC yet

Here you go user

Why doesn't baneposting ever get old?

GoT TW when?

Did they add Norsca?

only 9 more months, buy Tomb Kings while you're waiting!

I would say soon. INB4 naysaers

reddit.com/r/totalwar/comments/7sygbu/tww2_lighting_seriously_needs_an_overhaul/

normaltrash are finally cluing into the obvious

Boring setting.

After over 50 years of research, vigorous training and many failed experiments, my generals have finally learned how to RIDE A FUCKING HORSE

Hopefully never. None of the systems that make TW run are actually what made the books good.

Just go play the CK2 mod honestly, its better than a TW: GoT will ever be.

Nineteen constructs.

he means the ones for history games set in the ancient era which he finds boring due to repitive mechanics

I dont open that because I hate reddit, but I just hope that thread isnt swarmed with "its fine" comments

>9 months

Its coming out in 2019 with TW3 user, don't listen to this retard.

Factoring in Ushabti or just go full on sphinx spam?

>4chins been bitching about it since the Wh1 release

Why it always based reddit that saves the day?

What's the Hierotitan even for?

i think clients fits better than satrapies
so who's crashing the plane, atilla? Only one who makes sense because he NEEDS ERE to survive
wow user i bet it's the same photo posted earlier as well

Ushabs with great bows are too good to pass up in any comp. I ran 3 my last campaign (RoR + 2 regulars) and I will run 4 in my current one. They are that good, especially when you get heralds, tech and skills for them.

>Beastmen
>Good

Besides if you're playing as KANGZ you're already beastmen:^)

Better than Kings of Britannia
