Let me tell you, /fgog/, why Medusa has a very high chance to be a Grand servant.

Medusa is the second most popular Greek figure after Heracles right now in Fate and one of the most popular figures in general (according to /fgog/'s LiteralWho list). Obviously, a Grand servant should be a famous person and Medusa is definitely considered one.

Medusa is one of the original F/SN servants, so it goes without saying she will appear in Babylon. And she has enough fans to become more than just an ordinary servant.

Even though Medusa in her human form is seriously nerfed, she still was one of the strongest servants of the 5th HGW. Her Demon form is supposed to be much more powerful. Insane Monstrous Strength, unrestrained Cybele and Breaker Gorgon that can seal NPs with no doubt deserve to be called Grand servant level.

>Motivation
Even after F/SN and F/HA, Medusa still holds a massive grudge against humans. Since she is going to appear in her demon form, in story her purpose might pretty much be vengeance against humanity. Thus, she is very likely to appear as a Big Bad, that is Chaotic Evil Grand servant.

There is just no better fitting servant for Grand Berserker/Avenger spot in the leak list than Demon Lord Medusa.

- get rid of Quick cards and replace them with Arts cards (there's CEs and skills for stargen anyway)
- get rid of bond CEs and make their effects a new passive that unlocks upon reaching max bond
- get rid of support Berzerkers by putting them in a better class(Shittingale), or giving them damage NPs (Assterios)
- get rid of offensive Casters (Illya, Sanzou) and put them in other classes
- take Mash, Casters and Rulers off the field and give them separate Assist slots for their skills and NP (next to the mystic code skills).
- get rid of fucking break bars
- give a blank saint graph every time you get any 4-5*servant
- make it so one grail ascends max level immediately to 100
- get rid of the retarded NP overcharge system and base ALL NP effects on level

I slowly learned to respect this annoying motherfucker over the course of the series.
I like how despite him having the personality of a battle shounen hero, the world around him rejects him over and over again.
Other people see his selflessness as insanity (and they are not wrong), and masters and servants alike kick his ass constantly because in reality, standing up again and never giving up doesn't win battles, power does.
Even the audience rejects him because, with no background, his actions seem downright stupid, the product of a mind that lacks common sense and adult rationality.
But after numerous episodes stuck with him, we finally got our answer: there's no amount of rejection, evil and death in the current HGW that can break Shirou's resolve, because they pale in comparrison to the hell he has already been through.
What do the other masters know about the agony of not being able to save anyone, the emptiness of having to live a happy and normal life after witnessing how many of those were sacrifficed for him to have a second chance, and the beauty of the smile of someone who has been saved?
As inept as a mage Shirou is, he ironically knows better than anyone the horrors behind hells such as the HGW, so his ideals can't be broken by cold reasoning, arguments, power gaps, coercion or even cute dates that show him the beauty of a normal life. He is truly made of steel.
The only thing that can now possibly break Shirou is a colder, thoughest steel that has been through countless hells and has become the twisted result of his ideals being realized: his future self.
And yet, the memory of Kiritsugu's smile, the first person Shirou (involuntarily) saved, seems to be enough to keep him standing up after his ideals lie on the verge of being shattered. Because if saving people could produce such a beautiful result, how can ayone tell him he is wrong?
Things can only get better from now on. I'm really looking forward for his answer now.
