It's that wonderful and fantastic time of day again where we all get to share in together with some poetry! I hope you're all looking forward to this as much as I am! So if anyone would like to write a poem, please consider using one of these words as your theme or topic so that we can all compare and contrast our works together and improve together as a whole. Improvement is the goal, so don't worry about being bad or anything like that. Just do your best, and I'm sure others will follow suit! The "you write for yourself" mentality has always been dumb. Of course you shouldn't just jump on whatever shit is popular, but reception is always something you consider when posting a work. When I post a work, I do so because I enjoy seeing how it affects people, and I like to see if my intended themes and tone got through to people. Don't fall for the memes, considering your audience to a degree is healthy for a story teller.

That was a weird mix of happy and depressing, but in a really good way. I guess it just has this really foreboding feeling, thanks to the audience knowing what will eventually happen. Really well done, I like the use of a tape recorder (or some other form of voice recording, it doesn't actually matter that much) as a device for Sayori to expound upon her history with user. It gives the story a wistful, almost nostalgic sort of feel. There was a comic that I read recently that actually did something similar, and it was going for the same sort of mood as well. I think you captured that feeling well.

I like this, user. Using a tape recorder or whatever to record her thoughts is unique among fics, plus it's different from writing a journal because you can't easily erase the things you say!
