Is there a better top 3 in BB history? Best boy and the only good BB girl.

So I never played BB before (or fighting games in general), but decided to take the plunge and buy Central Fiction.

Thinking about learning the game while playing Es, since I like girls with huge swords. How bad of an idea is this?

Es is the best beginner choice and has a good learning curve, go for it

I've been getting a crash course on BB and fighting game in general the last couple days, from the looks of it most players pick 1~3 characters to main.

Any recommendations on other sword-using characters? Ragna looks caf.

Maining multiple characters is not a good idea, especially not as a new player. Alot of low-level play is about learning your own character, matchup stuff comes later on. Learning multiple at once is just going to be overwhelming. Besides, Es does a good job at teaching you system mechanics and how the game feels anyway, she and Jin are the best 2 characters for that.
Also, Ragna is not very good. He's very lackluster on offense.

I see. Sounds like I jumped ahead a little bit just reading about it. Forgot to keep in mind a lot of the people in the BB community are long-term players.

I'll stick with Es for now and actually learn the game before trying to do other shit. Time to hit youtube and watch some tutorials while I wait for this game to DL.

Does BB play better on Keyboard or an Xbox controller?

Not too familiar with controller options unfortunately. Most people play either on stick or pad, and I don't know how good Xbox controllers compare to that. I started on keyboard and that did work fine sort of, though I still ended up switching to stick for easier motions.

She kept her feelings in check because as an Onlooker, she's supposed to not get involved in affairs too deeply. That, and Ragna's upbringing under Jubei was to prepare him for harder things, and she couldn't coddle him because of it. As a result, she can sometimes be mistakened for cold, when in CS they finally revealed that she simply holds back her feelings.

All the colors are just ripped from CF for the BB characters and the other characters just copy those colors too. So everyone has a red, green, and yellow swap in addition to their default. It really sucks since the CF colors are pretty shit IMO. I really hope there's more than 4 in the full game but it's not looking good atm.

So far there's only one vid, and its of the default four, with the second half being half characters we already have gameplay videos one, but shows off a bit. I want footage of my character though. I figured we might not get information on some characters due to how many there are, but I didn't think we'd just outright get no info whatsoever.
