The reason why I suggest necro tomb is because it's the shortest possible dungeon with the lowest cd. Not sure what the cd is when you're not elite but if you are you can just spam it forever.

And does reaper count as ranged?

They're considered mid/close range.

Feels like this class is incomplete and the shadow reaping buff is a bandaid so people wont notice.

Why? They're pretty hard to play with not so good mobility so you have to play smart.

Do not cancel Whipsaw to cast Grim → Sunder Faster

What about Grim strike? Do you let it hit twice or cast Sunder instantly so it only hits once?

That rotation ia outdated, you always use Spiral -> Grim strike -> double shear -> grim strike -> sunder -> repeat
You let grim hit twice
You could use the pendulum rotation if you feel the above rotation is too slow compared to it, but it shouldnt be too slow

Have you ever played it? You have 1 actual movement skill, which is also your main iframe, retribution sucks as an iframe half the time cause of the cast time and it doesnt cancel skills, every single other skill you have is used in your rotation so it can rarely be used to move around, and sometimes a reapers gonna have to use dash between rotations just to animation cancel or just cause every single skill is on cd just cause they lack extra skills to use in their downtime
reaper have no actual increased movement speed skill like just about every other close range class, and reaper is not a mid range class despite whats said, you use one skill from mid range and thats it
Reaper's backstab is probably the worst one cause its the slowest and you have to actually use the skill twice to backstab, and it has the problem of sometimes not actually moving you at all yet it uses the skill up so it goes on cd
Reapers seriously need a dash type skill like other close range classes and either more base cdr off reaping or a few new skills they can use while everything else is on cd

Did you not read anything i said? Pendulum is part of your rotation so its on cd half the time, same with chain that only comes off cd towards the end of a rotation retribution is okay but not great cause of the cast time and it not cancelling skills and even though you sidnt bring it up, smite is the same as all 3 of those, slow cast, doesn't cancel animations and very lomg cd ans it has to be used to cover for downtimes when everything is on cd

Oh and retribution doesn't actually move you unless the skill is actually iframeable, so if its not and your only actual movement is on cd, you're fucked
Lots of classes have an iframe that can be used twice along with an actual dash

If you really need an extra movement skill, then don't use it as part of your rotation for that fight

Except you cant? Drop pendulum and whipsaw's cast time is slow as shit and it does a lot less damage
Drop hook and your leash/burst are even slower than whipsaw
Drop smite and youre just a sitting duck for a few seconds everytime you hit a cd
Drop two/three skills and you'll just hit cds all the time

Reaper has only one mobility skill thats not dependant on a target. Which makes the Reaper pretty immobile.

Now if they took that one skill that doubled the distance it traveled. I think Reapers would be good.

that would be nice and could be a lot better than what its like now, but it could also be too much movement since it'd be like 10m per use then which is a pretty big distance
an actual dash like any other class has would be the best option imo

There is a glyph that gives +50 movement speed for few seconds.

not very worth getting, every other glyph you already have is either damage or cdr and it doesn't help with the movement issue
