What's worse is the damage output isn't significant enough to warrant it. Base GS does like ~150 on the third, fully charged, spin attack in the chain.
DBs do like 60 damage in one combo that is easy as spit to land

This session nonsense might not even be as bad if they didn't have the ducking Drop-In system ruining everything. Then people would still need to form parties and start quests together

Is there a quest to fight a Rathalos because I can't kill one fast enough before it leaves the locale. It keeps flying away every time I do any damage to it then it wants me to run through a maze trying to reach it up top

Charge up your shot, use coatings, stay in the proper range, stop hitting a literal rock monster on the head.

Is there an efficient way to farm decorations/ gems? I can average 2 per investigation in hard mode but it seems a bit tedious

Where dual swords always this unga? I barely have to pay attention to what the monsters are doing as long as long as I spin every so often.
I think they slowed down the stamina drain as well so there's virtually no risk in going demon mode.

The lobbies suck because they make it so the only people who can join your quest from the beginning are the 15 other people in your lobby, which is stupid because the odds of somebody else doing a quest or hunting the monster you want is minimal. The only way to actually hunt with people is with SOS flares, which is retarded
