The "Alt-Right" is a catch-all term invented to categorize all people who despise the modern political Establishment [especially the Left Wing of it] and view the modern Right Wing as weak and compromising if not outright controlled opposition.

The term has no dogma, no set of agreed political goals, no leaders, and mostly serves as a public front for /pol/ on one hand and a honey pot for Jews trying to subvert the opposition on the other.

Common trends who include nationalism [both ethnic and civic], more libertarian social policies [more free speech, guns, etc], etc.

Also they worship frogs and perform black magic to try and kill celebrities.

I feel like this is how it started, but not what it's become. The modern "alt right" has been corrupted just like the "progressive left" became the "regressive left".

I would say that the movement has been corrupted by neo nazism. Pay attention to alt righters on Twitter or /pol/, and you will notice extreme similarities with them and BLM + third wave feminists. Even popular figures that associate with the alt right, often firmly claim that they are not one of them. Milo Yiannopolous is one example.

Anarchism, beyond what Stirner proposed - he didn't condone or condemned the state at all, he just shared his way of seeing the world, is moral stance on statehood foremost. Any practical considerations are balanced precariously on that moral axis.

Not according to any generally accepted definition of the terms 'libertarian' or 'social policies,' no. Even the 'free speech' platform plank is less about the actual legal concept of freedom of speech, i.e. protections against government retaliation, and is more about imposing speech on others by depriving private entities of their property rights, forcing them to let you say whatever you want, wherever you want, with no consequences. Not to mention that the rest of the alt-right social agenda could be summed up as "fuck minorities and fuck immigrants" stances that would charitably be described as "not at all in the slightest libertarian."
