can i get a quick rundown on these 2?

What?

I don't care

POST YER NEWEST SCREENSHOT

...

How can skyrim even compete?

That is the very definition of generic

Not a very interesting screenshot I'm afraid.

...

It looks beautiful

Why does Book of UUNP do this? The armors are great but then you get this shit lying around everywhere.

...

easier to make and more identifiable as a mod added armor, some of the ground models are just the static/flattened armor models which look awkward when you find them in the leveled lists or as loot in bandit camps/dungeons

Probably to make them identifiable against vanilla armors, since many of them are so similar to vanilla armors. If they had vanilla style ground models, they'd be difficult to distinguish. You have to remember the ground models are also used in the inventory.

Not my newest

garbage

who wantz to lore erwp? òwó

...

I'm thinking of something wrong in one of the Elder Scrolls games.

Can you guess what it is?

The Real Barenziah?

I'm thinking of several things wrong with your screenshot, can you guess what they are?

what do you think, /tesg/? is this a meme mod?

What kind of hell hound is this?

...

A good boy who's trying his best

What's his stage name?

You're getting a sneak peak at a new Quake enemy.

Don't know what it is but yeah probably.

Roggvir chilling. For some reason, noone was at his "execution" except a bananabitch and she'd just occasionally shout "Traitor", not even the guards

...

So, I have an idea for a mod, but I have no experience actually making mods. I've never even made a follower.

How difficult would it be for me to to make something 90% text based? Just a few text prompts and choices based on the PC and the enviroment?

>Better [Thing] mod
>It's worse

Would any modelers around recommend any 3DS Max beginner tutorials? Also figuring to give 2018 a shot before regressing to 2016 or 2015 given how old most tutorials might be.

>Have 5 mods that modify/add new eyes
>My altmer husbando only has a combination of red and blind eyes
Thanks

The organic factions thing really sounds like it could fuck up your game.

>Thanks

try lind's elven eyes, those work on altmer

It's more like a research into what radiant could do. Good as a baseline modder resource for your own stuff, not really good as gameplay mod by itself.

I don't think it's possible within the limitations of the engine, but is there a mod out there that will let me switch between controlling my character and a follower on the fly?

Why would that be limited by the engine? You can do that with console commands, I think

...

I've heard it screws your stats and interferes with other things.

>Why would that be limited by the engine?
The engine falls apart when saving/loading, how the fuck would anything work properly?

>The Elder Scrolls General
>expects discussions about lore and Elder Scrolls mechanics since they are pretty much unique
>instead it's just a general about anons modding an old game to look pretty for their generic fantasy girls screenshots

On a scale from 1 to 10, how much of a casual am I for using the uncapper in order to get 5 carry capacity when leveling health or magicka, not just stamina? Default settings otherwise.

My fantasy girl > your fantasy girl

Yeah, I never got that, either. I mean, there are better games for it, both in terms of visuals AND gameplay.
There's a lot of delusion going around, I think.

Lore discussions have been done to death. There's only so much you can talk about the setting of a series that hasn't had a significant addition to it in six years.

>better games for it
No game is a better porn game with more customization and features with integration into actual gameplay.

>There's a lot of delusion going around, I think.
Yeah, like "Elder Scrolls mechanics... are pretty much unique".

>expects discussions about lore and mechanics of a 7 year old game
If this wasn't bait I might start thinking you were retarded

cool concept over a long period of time that's kinda cool to read about, but in terms of gameplay the factions do fuck all except churn out weak minibosses

Have you ever browsed this board? I mean, people are still talking about shit like Undertale that has basically no lore.

like this?

It'd be nice if the days of the week in TES mattered. Like there were weekends, where you would see NPCs going to the square and chatting, or playing some kind of game with friends.

Or if the in game months were seasonal, affecting the weather and the types of wildlife/monsters that can be found in certain areas. Bears disappearing from the forests during winter, replaced with ice wraiths, trolls, and wolves. NPCs being more likely to be found at the local tavern, gathered tight around the fire. Small world-buildings elements like that can really pull a game like TES together.

I know there's a mod that adds holidays and festivals and shit to Skyrim, but I haven't used it myself and haven't heard good things about it.

Generals like that are usually community circlejerks that are barely about the game, aside from posting fanart and such. I mean, this one isn't much better, but at least we've got the constant influx of mods and the ability to make different characters.

Oblivion actually had weekly schedules for characters. They would do different things on different days. Skyrim is downgraded in terms of NPC scheduling, though, so I don't know if any of its NPCs have weekly schedules.

If you die while controlling someone, do you warp back to your original player? That could be fun.

I think the timescale is a bit too long for that to fit in. Feels like it requires hours and hours to get through even a single day.

Says it just loads your last save like normal

Man that's pretty lame. Could have some A-class roleplaying being a mind controlling body-snatcher that jumps from character to character as they die.

Is modding Morrowind as much of a nightmare as modding Skyrim?

I used to play Skyrim with mods and it was always like a job trying to fix random crashes. It can be a nightmare trying to get two small, seemingly completely unrelated mods to not conflict in a way to make the game unplayable.

That said, I'm about 200 hours into (vanilla + official addons) Morrowind and it has crashed a grand total of one time. Unlike Skyrim, which even without a single mod would crash on me more often than it should. Is it worth trying to add some mods? Is modding generally easier/less frustrating or do you run into the same problems with crashes? I'm really interested in new land mods, which ALWAYS caused problems with Skyrim, how about Morrowind?

>a nightmare as modding Skyrim
Man you should try modding oblivion

it's easy if you've the time to convert everything to being compatible with MO and not need to use any other manager

I didn't even try, I played it vanilla and it crashed even more than Skyrim, I knew exactly how that would have went lol

fomod installers in Wrye Bash when?

Crashes usually aren't the problem. Just make sure to check your warnings.txt
Almost every problem can be fixed, you just might not stumble upon said fix until years later.

I have never had issues with Morrowind mods. But that might also be because 90% of the Morrowind mods I use are visual.

Crashes aren't much problem, engine not handling all new terrain and graphics yes. My morrowind feels more like powerpoint presentation at this point

GCE NPCs Replacer any good?

>installing mods with Wrye Bash
why

All NPC replacers are shit who turn the game into a korean doll shitfest.
But half the characters in here look like that, so I guess you might like it.

It looks good to me. You can just install the characters you like, so might as well give it a shot.

A korean doll shitfest is still better than what Bethesda gave us.

are there any alternatives?

It's a different flavor of shit, more like.

Looks fuckin' sweet, will it work on a custom follower?

Thanks, I see now.

Anyone know how to choose two different eye colors? I know theres an Eye Overhaul mod that allows it but the selection is pretty limited.

Blurry background = instant 10/10

heterochromia is for weebs

wow fuck you these people suffer and are bullied just like redheads

Well that's what they get for being children of satan

this is disgusting

There's a severe lack of waifus in this thread. Post 'em. Husbandos are fine too

Best Dunmer coming through.

You'll never experience real bullying unless you're an atheist.

Wtf there's a 12k upvote Skyrim post on r/all. Pretty impressive.

wft lol

Help I'm getting CTDs

Uninstall sexlab and it'll stop.

I made a clean game without it, I think it might be warzones that's fucking me

>warzones
gee I wonder

fix it then

I've read that Bethesda discourages modders from using resources from other games (for example, directly importing models/textures/meshes from Oblivion into Skyrim) and I've never seen any such mods on places like Nexus. Is there a good resource for mods that aren't "accepted" by the community (aside from sex mods)? It seems like an obvious thing for variety purposes (why make all new weapons or characters or creatures when you can take them from previous games)

MO, dude, the one everyone here uses.

How do I fix when zooming in and out breaks? I can go into 1st/3rd person, but not zoom in and out.
