Using your TMGs to reload. Reload is 20 PP from JA + 40 per second.
You can use your weapon action, but it's hard set at 5 hits per press that restore 6 per hit=30 per second--increasing the button press speed doesn't make this go faster.

Use a macro to mash the sword weapon action, it is at the minimum 135pp (my whole bar) in a second. Probably more if you overclock your computer.

Forgot to mention, some people use the step JA window ring so that, with TMGs, you can step+reload and repeat. However, I haven't tested the frame data to see if this is optimal.
Completely up to you, I use the PA to swap because the best DPS for sword is the swap to TMGs PA twice into basic attack 3.

Yeah I decided to just try it figuring no real loss in giving it a go. It is kinda boring, and I would say it was easy if I didn't have a bunch of accidents when I tried it. Still won with all towers despite everything that happened (had nothing to do with skill/damage). Need the omega crystals though so I'll probably run one more.

+23 on VH seemed to get me a very high spawn rate for boosted, but not guaranteed. Maybe its just SH.
