Reposting question but how does one make an animation override that basically stops any blinking and eye tracking stuff VRChat does? I've seen videos doing regular facial expressions but they don't stop the eye movements.

No. My settings are way better than everyone else's and I keep them to myself. Also it changes from avatar to avatar, some values won't work well always.

Those 1.0 packages are gonna stay in warehouses to accumulate dust if Zuck releases something better for a lower price though. The only issue I got with the Oculus is the lower quality body tracking, only reason keeping me from spending money on it.

I couldn't give 2 shits about body tracking desu, which is why I ended up with an Oculus in the summer of rift sale after using both for a few months at an arcade. Vive is less comfy and the screen door effect is more prevalent. I like the touch controllers more too

With the Vive, you can always upgrade your equipment individually since the technology is just that much better and well-planned. Valve and HTC really brought on the best and most brilliant minds of the tech industry when they got into VR and it shows in every single way with their decisions and the Vive itself.

However on the other hand if you're a poorfag Rift cuck like yourself potentially then well, there's not much you can do. You're always gonna get fucked since you can't use your old hardware with the Oculus.

Compared to the vive they cost like half, in Europe at least.

Well there's no way to know for sure, since Oculus hasn't announced any new desktop hardware, but you're probably right if only because the SteamVR/OpenVR tracking system is available to anyone under a free license. Multiple manufacturers can guarantee interoperability, whereas the Rift system is just Oculus.

Vive's camera looks useful for when you get totally lost in real space.

It is sub-par, but it doesn't buzz constantly or echo in-game audio. You can mod it to be about as good as the Rift mic, and both are fine for voice chat.

I bought it from one of the other sellers that was even cheaper than the 399$ bundle so it wasnt too bad. I'd only be paying couple extra price difference if I were to buy the controllers separately, which I will do later

Rift is really comfy for extended usage.

The camera doesn't even work if you're using a USB extender or hub. It crashes the headset.

If you decide to play some music over mic, it looks cuter to observers if the mouth follows.
