I leveled a druid for the first time specifically to get the appearance, I completed it with around 925 ilvl with garbage leggos, with only a few weeks playing the class so it's not impossible.

To anyone who is new to this game, or is considering picking this up I have a few friendly tips for you all

1) Do NOT play with Veeky Forums
2) Do NOT add anyone from Veeky Forums
3) Do NOT join Veeky Forums servers
4) Do NOT add anyone related to Veeky Forums on social/instant messaging services such as Steam or PSN
5) Avoid Illidan like the plague
6) If you are matched with well known Veeky Forums personalities in the game, keep your head down, don't acknowledge them and ignore them

But why do you need to do this? Excellent question

1) Veeky Forums do not play the game, they idle in locations while teasing eachother. You will find more gameplay and a better community away from Veeky Forums
2) Most Veeky Forums personalities are lonely and desperate, and even associating with them will most likely get you involved in drama or get your back stabbed
3) The majority of Veeky Forums servers have nothing to offer beyond the Veeky Forums population, and you'll often have to deal with them spouting memes and acting like idiots in trade chat, and group finder.
4) Veeky Forums personalities have been known to leak logs of friends they get bored with.
5) Illidan is where the worst of every server congregates.
6) Veeky Forums personalities are known to complain about people they see in dungeons over the general. Don't want to get called out for everyone to see, keep your head down

Now go and find a nice non-Veeky Forums server and join a nice and active non-Veeky Forums free company and enjoy your time with the game.

You can still hit the guy in the first phase with thrash if you have balance affinity even without the legendary bracers. I tried to save as many orbs as I could + bash for the second phase to stun lock kruul and burst him with drums. A lot of it comes down to trial and error.
