Blizzard really fucked up with Garrosh's representation in Heroes of the Storm. His abilities and role do not fit his character fantasy in any way. His kit should have been for another character.

Yes, he is fun to play. But he should have been a bruiser, like Artanis, but with burst and less focus on defense and with an ability to force 1v1.

The truth is every mode should be open to changes for the better, they only feed the "LMFAO FIVE CLOWN FIESTA LMAAAOOO" shit by essentially saying they refuse to do anything to change it so people just accept that and say "lmao yea like totally its just qm bro lmao". When in reality, they refuse to change any fucking mode, they do nothing to significantly change anything within the game modes themselves, despite them all being flawed, but because they speak out on QM and ONLY because it's the easiest mode to speak up on because it isn't THE mode you play for artificial "you're very good!!!" points, people just take that and parrot shit like "lmao dude its just qm bro haha chill".

The reality is it's all equally meaningless and as such, just treat all modes the same and look to improve things here and there regardless of what you think your playerbase thinks of it. But nope, they're lazy ncompetent fucks. Christ, it even took them almost half a year to nerf Mercy in OW when she dominated the entire game the second they reworked her. There's no real reason for that, it's just the Blizzard way.

What exactly is there to change in QM? Please tell me, because to me there isn't anything wrong with Blue being matched vs Red in Do you want more intricate rules about not having several specs in the same team? Those can be some of the strongest teams assuming you play around your strengths. Never mind that such rules would be pretty pointless as specialist is just another label for "assassin with a weird way to deal damage." If you can't handle that kind of randomness, there's 2 draft modes that allow you to build the comp you want.

Or is the problem somewhere else? Because at this point I'm just fucking guessing, if you want legit discussion, don't hide behind vague all-encompassing complaints such as "matchmaking is bad!!" and learn to fucking articulate your point of contention.

not him but there have been rules for quite some time now regarding tanks, supports and half supports
before that games were chosen by who got the support and the tank and who did not
some rules at the moment are shit, like zaryas and abathurs and tassadars and tyrande all getting matched together, makes leveling one of those a chore since it's the same game over and over again, but this doesn't mean they can't make a system based on more than 4 variables and 4 exceptions

Overwatch is fair and balanced. The only current outlier is hanzo, and that's because his PVE damage is way too high (~2800 on an effective 2-3 second cooldown per w).

The more rules you add, the longer the queue becomes to find a "fair" match, this much should be logical to understand. There's a balance to be found.

If you're saying you don't want 3 assassins matched against 3 specs, I'm saying it's a pointless requirement to ask of the "find-a-match-quick" mode since the fine nuance is on a per-hero basis, not on a per-label basis. Assassins and specs overlap the same role, damage dealers.

As far as the above match, system seems to be working as intended.

Why are specialists ranged only in your mind? There are melee specialists. There could be more in the future. They occupy the same broad role of damage dealers, no matter what vague distinction you're trying to make to separate them.

... not really. You seem to be working under the assumption that every map and every objective is a solo lane ARAM brawl, it's not. Melee assassins are shit without a support, they can be kited to death. Ever tried Malthael vs triple ranged? Does that mean we need more pointless melee vs ranged restrictions?

Again, if you want the game fine tuned to your exact comp, that's what the draft modes are for.

Using that image as an example, we have Nova and Azmodan on the same team, heroes that generally do not present an immediate body in a fight. With Ana, a healer that pretty much CAN'T act as a body in a fight or she's as good as dead and useless. What should change is that certain heroes should be tagged with these disclaimers, and the matchmaker should at least attempt to avoid piling them into one team for the sake of consistency. If you have two or more of these heroes that by design should look to outrange a skirmish, then everyone else on your team can't exactly play their own heroes as they're supposed to be able to, this creates a element of inconsistency in the mode that new players are introduced into the game through which is something else they should keep in mind but don't..

The same goes for the fact that there are 3 waveclear heroes on one team, and the other team has none in that they aren't built for it. Rehgar and Tass CAN but it isn't something they're meant to be doing as actively as the others, and the matchmaker should again look to spread out waveclear heroes much more than it does currently, for AGAIN the sake of consistency. It's not about whether they could possibly scrape together a win with what they've got or not, it's about adding some consistency to the game mode.

So what I was saying, and you fucking know it, was that there's absolutely room for positive change, but their response as to why they haven't holds no water and it just breeds more bullshit empty "lol its just qm" mentalities. You and I both know there's ways to improve QM, don't act like you don't know or that you didn't get what I was saying just so you could act like you're so much better or some arrogant shit.

But the same goes for Unranked/Ranked, there's more they could do for them as well, but give no hint of giving a fuck about. Extra ban slots, hero swapping, etc. They could at least TRY things out for a single season.

Yeah? Then why not try out the option to opt for putting yourself in a slightly longer queue in exchange for a more "well-rounded" type of match? Anyone who wants to opt into it can, and anyone who doesn't clearly doesn't care where they end up as long as they can play, they can be used in normal "wacky" QM games or put into these new "slightly more balanced" games, it's just another option and like they always say, more options are good.

Also, Assassins and Specialists don't overlap. Some do but in general they don't. Tbh there should be a separate role for the real odd ones out, like Abathyr, TLV, and Probius. Murky plays more like an Assassin than the others, I wouldn't really count him although I know he kind of could.
