Fate/Grand Order was originally planned to end in the battle of the time temple to solve the last singularity, but due to its success it got greenlit a new story which Nasu had potentially thought (not so much considering he didn't have even the fucking chapter 1 ready after a year) which would take place a year after solving the incineration, once you are done with the filler subsingularities in part 1.5.

The new part is about the "lostbelts" of history those worlds that deviate the correct history and marked for purging. We don't have all info but the correct history turned into nothingness again, a blank page, and the A Team, the Crypters, the chosen ones Masters of Chaldea who got robbed their fate of glory by (you) are now involved in one lostbelt for a goal, one of them claims is to "bring back the age of gods".
The PV implies your job will be purging those worlds, "You won't have allies, because in there, you're the 'evil' ones" since the Human Order got fucked over again and the system ins't working.
