I played ranked Overwatch and literally had zero problems, neither did any girls who spoke on mic suddenly get e-raped. There's also the option of having voice chat on but muting your own mic, so you can at least hear people calling out in real time.

You have a second ultimate. Monstrosity is functionally a bruiser camp that can be controlled and heals, it can even deny a regen globe if you use it on a mage.

It's not useful in all situations but in the ones where it is, it's extremely strong.

He's still very strong against multiple melee. Sulfuras smash is an excellent ultimate if your team can set it up. His trait is still excellent for defending things. Lava wave is less useful but can situationally exploit teams with less waveclear.

Oh and living meteor on 1+16 can end up doing like 3000 damage to a structure, so that's nice.

He could use some talent tweaking though as blast wave talents are mostly garbage and some of his living meteor talents are pure shit.

I don't want to control a shitty pet that dies in an instant when the enemy team decides to kill it. I'd rather have something related to the hat like boosting it's abilities for 15 seconds and dropping cd on hatting people as baseline

He's actually only mediocre there as he loses pretty badly to thrall, malthael, rexxar, sonya, zagara and greymane. There's also nearly zero opportunities to flank and use trait on a fort behind the enemy team. He can work though as he is an alright solo hero.

It's more reflective of his nerfs than anything else, and no lava wave is not particularly good against the zerg wave.

Azshara and Khadgar are definitely coming this year.

Maiev as well.
