Honestly, all you really need is earplugs and weakness exploit.

The repeated slam is better on downed monsters, level 2 charge is needed for hit and runs. The only monsters that really screw you over with tremor are Xeno and Ura, the others can be easily avoided whilst still damaging the head

Beetlejuice's mouth is so small for an apex predator. But then again, he doesn't really need to use his mouth to bite at things much considering he literally just carpet bombs things to death and then eats their charred and shredded apart carcasses off the floor.

Also remove the anti-catloli posters.

What's a good LBG tree to use? I've made Odog so far since it has lv 2 spread and slicing ammo.

I agree, but making the weapon halfway decent just for a single fight doesn't make it good, it doesn't even compare to Vaal which can nearly shoot everything plus 3 slice shots with load up. Feel free to argue with me but if we're going off a pure DPS point of view then the slicing guns out-perform it by a mile.

I only do Kirin solo now, I had no idea slicing did that to teammates till I started playing online, it really annoys me how our most viable shots fuck over our team. I really hope G-rank fixes LGBs and returns them to their element-based state they were supposed to be in

Great weapons to start out with that will get your games and farming going? New to monhan but I hate slow starts until you get going into the higher stuff and can just repeat-farm stuff as needed.

So, which weapon should I start out with? I've tried Bow, but dealing 25 (75~) damage each hit seems to take a bit too long and even when I have a free shot square in the middle of their body that is standing still, it only sometimes hits once for whatever reason.

Alpha. It's not actually very good as a set unless you're going for a blast weapon and even then there are better options. Assuming you haven't fought other elder dragons, it should only be used for a while before getting something better.

It's another one of these posts, how many do we get on a daily basis now /mhg/?
