I'm completely new to fighters but I'm really enjoying them, do you think it's worth investing in a fight stick immediately to get used to it as fast as possible or should I stick to controller until I've really grasped the basics? It's more fun playing with a stick and also causes a lot less strain. But you can get just as good with a controller so don't buy it expecting it'll make you good. You'll get worse at first. Also, don't buy a cheap stick, there's no such thing as a newcomer stick.

We bought them because we grew up in arcades and it's the control scheme we're used to.
Yeah, some characters can spend 1 meter to get a hard knockdown with vanish when a H hard knockdown isn't available.
