It's viable, you'll just be slower. That said, depending on your weapon class, you might have access to more powerful weapons than Ore with primarily metal aesthetic

How could they create such a damage disparity between weapons? Bow, DB and CB deals way too much damage compared to other weapons. Weapons like IG, Lance and SnS are a complete and utter joke. Why the fuck would you ever play those weapons? Before someone say fun, what the fuck is fun about taking twice as long doing missions knowing you're fucking gimped? Does Capcom ever balance Monster Hunter games? I know it's basically single player but the differences in damage some some of the weapons suffer is way too retarded.

So I'm torn between using Vaal and Xeno CBs. With this goofy set I'm making I get handi+4 I believe and dragon attack. Which means both CB have a good amount of white sharp. Vaal has power element phial, higher damage and higher elder seal. Xeno's has impact, higher affinity (15%) and more white sharpness as well as the better slots. The thing is I'm torn because slots are so hit or miss with the crazy way decos are setup right now. Pic for attention
