>he'll eventually stop giving quests, come back the next day
>the hunter guy alone means unlimited money so the misery bs economy is no longer an issue
>when you have time go to yantar or rookie village to change faction to ecologist or stalker, now you can do freedom and duty assassination missions risk free with the mine trick -> more money
>sell the garbage artifacts (those without properties) and all mutant parts that aren't meat to sakharov for even more money
>when you'll buy a new weapon try to keep it always in high condition (above 80%) or repairs will start to cost a lot, repairing from npc is always more cost effective than using kits unless you loot them
>once you reach a certain rank you will be able to buy stuff in bulk when talking to traders, you'll save money that way
>the only stats that really matter for armors are carry weight ad artifact slots
>health regen and bleed reduction with artifacts/upgrades will save a lot of cash on the long run, aim for that stuff
>everything dies really fast so a basic scoped ak/lr-300 is enough to face 90% of the threats, when you will reliably afford ap rounds for your gun you will oneshot almost everything even without headshots
>having an ar with grenade launcher will help you take on chimeras and giants easily
>always carry joints and blaze it when screen turns blue/yellow
Currently screwing around in Pripyat in CoC. How much further do I need to go? Currently only have 3 maps unlocked.

that's all i can think of right now, overall last day is really easy (not cop misery easy but lightyears away from reborn and NS) and the worst part is the extremely early game, the game literally ends once you can reliably take out the bandits at the garbage hangar (with duty that starts with ak means right from the start)
the biggest mistakes are wasting money in useless shit and it will happen a lot at the beginning especially if you have never played cop misery and have no idea what is actually useful and what is just shit to sell

I'm replaying vanilla SoC and whenever there's a fire the framerate tanks, and by that I mean below 20.
My current pc is much more powerful than the one I used back in the day, and then I didn't have this issue with the game, so there must be some bullshit going on.

Not the same guy but it pretty much is. Cooking is pretty useless when they still give you rads for it. Artifacts are the only reliable way you can generate cash, even then it requires investment. Hauling around guns might be good but it requires knowledge on which guns are good and the how the quality affects the price. It also is a pain to drag back to a trader as well.
