Is it ok?

1)Isolate face mesh using a single face vertex and Ctrl+L. Invert selection, HIDE.
2)Wireframe mode.
3)Select upper lip carefully, assign new group vertex "upper lip"
4) Select lower lip carefully, assign new group vertex "lower lip"
5) Deselect all
6) Select upper lip
6.1)Ctrl+B De-select middle part of upper lip
6.2)Move up or down
6.3) Ctrl+B De-select more of the middle part of upper lip
6.2)Move up or down
Ctrl+B De-select middle part of upper lip
6.2)Move up or down
Do this until you have positioned all your upper lip properly
REPEAT with LOWER LIP.

The trick is to always always ALWAYS be systematic.
That's how I managed to make custom lip shapekeys. I hope this helped a bit user.

Woops I just rechecked. Just press "B" for highlighting. it should be a bounding box thing. be sure to be in wire frame mode while doing this.

So basically,
1)Press "B"
2) Press and hold "Shift"
3) Left-Click (bounding box) Highlight the vertexes you want to remove selection on
4) Release

That should deselect vertices you don't want highlighted any longer.

And yes, I just realized the weight painting is broke on the glove and I just fixed it.

No. If it's only a little bit buy a a very short 3.0 cable. Actives are only needed for long distances.

I'm a fucking idiot. I keep making this same mistake. I create a copy of the control panel before editing, but keep it in the same directory. This breaks it. Normally, you can do this just fine since it's looking for files with particular names, but I guess Unity or the SDK reads every file in the directory.

I made this mistake before and apparently didn't learn from it.

You probably fucked up the syntax and didn‘t notice it because you‘re editing it in text editor
