My best guess is that they wanted to make mercy not be considered low skill and they wanted to shake up the meta. They failed at both of those, but it's the best guess I can give.
That looks cool. I'm in your same rank, but I've never played Mei in comp. I've been playing as her in quick and arcade recently and I can do generally quite well. I need to learn how far I can LMB to safely freeze enemies.

Sombra is flawed on so many levels. Her hacking/emp is very inconsistent about what it stops and her ability to be in stealth is completely nullified by the fact she has a full second delay and a loud voice line she has to say before she can do anything from within it. Then they gave her a gun with a huge clip, but made that clip pointless because her fucking spread is outragous and you probably hit anyone not a tank less times than 76's 20 clip anyway.

She's a balanced character now, but there's no hype to her ult. It's inconsequential. With Zen you can shut down an enemy ult and save your team, with Ana you can boost a Genji and wipe out the enemy team, with Moira you can combo with Zarya and wipe out the enemy time OR save your own team, and with Lucio you can save your team and nullify an enemy damage ult. With Mercy you can pop your ult to try to fly away from Genji blade or a Junkrat tire, hold lmb to heal your team as you've been doing since always, or toggle to Orisa's lame ult, and if you res you die. Mercy's ult can't even save your team if they get graviton'd and you're flying in the air healing your 5 teammates simultaneously. So she's balanced, but a boring support. Anyone would rather have Zen or Lucio. Mercy maybe if you're a pug support who needs to babysit a shitter or two who always peek and get picked off before every push.

Practice your tracking and remember the timing when a target gets frrozen so you can double headshot or do three headshots if you use your m2 (RMB) right before a tank gets frozen

I still need to figure out this mechanic. How long does it take to freeze an enemy? Problem is that as soon as I freeze an enemy I usually don't have enough time to deal more than one headshot.
